  • 6 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup ROBIN HOOD® All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup chopped toasted pecans, optional

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease and line an 8 or 9 inch (2 or 2.5L) square baking dish with parchment paper, overlapping 2 sides for easy removal.
  • Melt chocolate and butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat. Stir until combined. Cool.
  • Beat eggs, sugars and vanilla in a large bowl. Add cooled chocolate mixture. Mix until blended.
  • Combine next 4 ingredients and stir into batter. Stir in pecans.
  • Spread batter in prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven 25 to 30 minutes, or until firm on the outside but moist inside.
  • Cool in pan. Loosen brownies from sides of pan and lift out using overhanging parchment paper as handles. Cut into squares.
  • Tips
  • Add ½ cup (125mL) chopped white chocolate with the pecans.
