Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup mashed banana
  • 1 cup Sherwood Sourdough
  • 1 1/3 cups Robin Hood® Original All Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips, optional

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9" x 5" loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter, sugar and eggs together thoroughly. Mix in mashed banana and Sherwood. Add remaining dry ingredients and mix until incorporated. Stir in nuts or chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
