  • Crust
  • 2 cups Robin Hood® Original All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup/stick All Vegetable Shortening, cold, cut into bits
  • 3/4 cup toffee bits
  • Filling
  • 1 can Regular or Low Fat Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits
  • 1 cup remaining crust mixture
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate, melted (optional)

  • Crust :
  • Preheat oven to 350º F (180ºC). Line 9” x 13” (3 L) baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Combine flour, sugar and salt in large bowl. Cut in shortening until it resembles coarse crumbs. You can do this in the food processor. Stir in toffee bits. Reserve 1 cup (250 mL) flour mixture for topping.
  • Filling :
  • Press flour mixture into prepared baking dish. Pour condensed milk over crust. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and toffee bits. Sprinkle with remaining flour mixture.
  • Bake in preheated oven 30-35 minutes. Drizzle with melted chocolate, if desired. Cool and cut into squares.
