Ingredients

  • 1 No Fail Pastry recipe
  • 1 1/4 cup pecan halves
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

Directions

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 2:

Prepare pastry as directed on package. Roll out 1 ball of dough and fit into 9” (23 cm) pie plate. Wrap and freeze remaining ball for future use.

Step 3:

Spread pecans over pastry. Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl, mixing to combine thoroughly. Pour over pecans.

Step 4:

Bake on lower rack of preheated oven for 10 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (180°C) and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer or until just set. Cool completely before slicing.
