All-in-One Bowl Double Chocolate Chip Cake

Ingredients
- Cake:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup All Vegetable Shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt or buttermilk
- 1 1/2 cups Robin Hood® Original All Purpose Flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet, milk chocolate or white chocolate chips)
- Garnish:
- Icing sugar
Directions
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9” (23 cm) cake pan.
Cake
Step 2:
Place all ingredients (except chocolate chips) in food processor. Process until batter is smooth. Stir in chocolate chips.
Spoon into prepared pan.
Step 3:
Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool.
Garnish
Step 4:
Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
