Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake

You’d better believe it tastes as good as it sounds, especially made with our Robin Hood® Nutri Flour Blend ™ Omega-3 & Fibre.


1 cup 250 mL packed brown sugar
¾ cup 175 mL granulated sugar
½ cup 125 mL butter, softened
2 eggs
½ cup 125 mL unsweetened applesauce
2 tsp 10 mL vanilla extract
3 ¼ cups 800 mL Robin Hood® Nutri Flour Blend™ Omega-3 & Fibre
2 tsp 5 mL baking soda
1 tsp 5 mL baking powder
½ tsp 2 mL salt
1 cup 250 mL semi-sweet chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 10” (25 cm) spring form pan.
  2. Cream butter and sugars together until well combined. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add applesauce and vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add to butter mixture. Beat until flour mixture is incorporated into butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
  4. Pat dough evenly into prepared pan.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Center should still be a little soft. Cool on wire rack. Slice into wedges.
