Orange Butter Icing

Faites changement de votre déjeuner habituel avec ce pain rempli de flocons d’avoine, de raisins charnus, de cassonade et d’un soupçon de cannelle.

Ingredients

1/2 cup 125 mL butter, softened
4 cups 1 L icing sugar, sifted
1/3 cup 75 mL Carnation® Regular, 2% or Fat Free Evaporated Milk
1 tbsp 15 mL orange juice
1 tbsp 15 mL grated orange rind

Directions

  1. Cream butter and half of icing sugar in a large bowl of an electric mixer until light in texture. Add milk, orange juice and orange zest. Beat in remaining icing sugar gradually. Blend well.

Tips

  • Makes enough icing to fill and frost a double layer cake. For an 8" (2 L) cake, halve the recipe.
