Honey of a Honey Cake

Have a sweet spot for honey? Then you’ll love this delicious cake flavoured with cinnamon, coffee and – of course – a whole lot of honey.

Ingredients

3 1/2 cups 875 mL Robin Hood® Original All Purpose Flour
1 tbsp 15 mL baking powder
1 tsp 5 mL baking soda
2 tsp 10 mL cinnamon
1/2 tsp 2 mL cloves
1/2 tsp 2 mL allspice
1 cup 250 mL Crisco® Vegetable or Canola Oil
1 cup 250 mL honey
1 1/2 cups 375 mL granulated sugar
3 eggs
1 cup 250 mL brewed Folgers® Coffee
3/4 cup 175 mL orange juice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a 10"(3L) Bundt pan.
  2. Combine first 6 dry ingredients in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly with wire whisk or on low speed of electric mixer (batter will be thin). Spread batter in prepared pan.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 55 to 65 minutes, or until cake tester inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool 20 minutes in pan, then remove to wire rack and cool completely.
