  • 1 can Eagle Brand® Dulce de Leche Caramel Flavoured Sauce
  • 6 cups sliced peaches
  • Topping
  • 1 cup Robin Hood® Original All Purpose Flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup Crisco® All Vegetable Shortening
  • ¼ cup boiling water
  • ⅓ cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Sugar in the Raw® Natural Turbinado Sugar

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease a deep, 9” (23 cm) round or 11” x 7” (28 cm x 18 cm) casserole dish.
  • Stir together, in a large bowl, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Blend in shortening using a pastry blender or your fingers until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in water until just combined.
  • Drop topping over the peach mixture (topping will spread as it bakes). Sprinkle with sliced almonds and sugar.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes or until topping is golden and a toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
  • Combine caramel flavoured sauce and peaches in a large bowl. Pour into prepared dish.
