  • 1 3/4 cups Robin Hood® Original All Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 pkg milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sliced almonds, toasted

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and line a 10” x 15” x ½” (25 cm x 37 cm x 1 cm) baking sheet with parchment paper, overlapping the two longer sides for easy removal.
  • Combine flour and sugars in a large mixing bowl. Mix in butter until thoroughly blended. Add egg and vanilla. Mix until smooth or blend in food processor until mixture comes together.
  • Press mixture onto prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in preheated oven 13 to 18 minutes or until light golden. Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over hot base. Wait 5 to 7 minutes for chocolate chips to soften and spread over base. Immediately sprinkle with nuts.
  • Cool until chocolate sets. Cut into 1 ½” (3.8 cm) squares.
